in the framework of International Short Film Festival of Cyprus

TSFM What’s the story? Cyprus is an intensive workshop, part of the new Talents Generator Factory initiative promoted by Talents and Short Film Market (TSFM), taking place for the second time in Cyprus in the framework of the 13th ISFFC.
Under the guidance of two experienced tutors, eight selected filmmakers and screenwriters from Cyprus, Israel, Greece and Egypt will take part in an intensive workshop during which they will work together in order to kickstart their respective storylines for an upcoming short film. Two candidates amongst the participants will be selected by the tutors and invited to take part in Talents and Short Film Market vol. 8, in November 2023 in Turin, Italy.
TSFM What’s the story? will take place between 9-13 October 2023 at the Rialto Theatre.
The tutors will be Enrico Vannucci, programmer, talent scout and distributor, and Iulia Rugina, director and screenwriter.
The open call for submissions, launched in May 2023, was addressed to upcoming film directors and/or screenwriters living in Cyprus, Greece, Lebanon, Israel and Egypt who have been working on a short film project in the early stages of development. The selection committee, composed by members of TSFM, selected the following eight participants who will take part in this second edition of TSFM What’s the Story? Cyprus 2023:

στο πλαίσιο του Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Ταινιών Μικρού Μήκους (ISFFC)

Το TSFM What’s the story? Cyprus είναι ένα εντατικό εργαστήρι που πραγματοποιείται για δεύτερη φορά στην Κύπρο και αποτελεί μέρος της νεοσύστατης πρωτοβουλίας “Talents Generator Factory” που στηρίζει το Talents and Short Film Market του Τορίνο (TSFM).
Υπό την καθοδήγηση δύο έμπειρων εκπαιδευτών, οκτώ επιλεχθέντες συμμετέχοντες σεναριογράφοι και σκηνοθέτες από την Κύπρο, το Ισραήλ, την Ελλάδα και την Αίγυπτο θα λάβουν μέρος σε ένα εντατικό εργαστήρι στο πλαίσιο του οποίου θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να αναπτύξουν το σενάριο της μικρού μήκους ταινίας τους. Δύο εξ αυτών θα επιλεχθούν από τους εκπαιδευτές και θα προσκληθούν να λάβουν μέρος στο Talents and Short Film Market vol. 8, που θα πραγματοποιηθεί τον Νοέμβριο 2023 στο Τορίνο της Ιταλίας.
Το TSFM What’s the story? διεξάγεται μεταξύ 9-13 Οκτωβρίου 2023 στο Θέατρο Ριάλτο.
Εκπαιδευτές του εργαστηρίου είναι ο Enrico Vannucci, υπεύθυνος προγράμματος, ανιχνευτής ταλέντων και διανομέας ταινιών μικρού μήκους και η Iulia Rugina, σκηνοθέτρια και σεναριογράφος.
Η ανοικτή πρόσκληση υποβολής αιτήσεων, που δημοσιεύθηκε τον περασμένο Μάιο, απευθυνόταν σε ανερχόμενους σκηνοθέτες ή/και σεναριογράφους που κατοικούν στην Κύπρο, την Ελλάδα, τον Λίβανο, το Ισραήλ και την Αίγυπτο, και οι οποίοι βρίσκονται σε πρώιμο στάδιο ανάπτυξης μίας ταινίας μικρού μήκους. Η επιτροπή επιλογής, αποτελούμενη από μέλη του Talents and Short Film Market (TSFM), επέλεξε τους ακόλουθους οκτώ συμμετέχοντες που θα λάβουν μέρος στο φετινό TSFM What’s the Story? Cyprus 2023:
