Το Eye Film Institute Netherlands είναι το ινστιτούτο κινηματογράφου της Ολλανδίας. Από 1η Ιανουαρίου 2010 συγκεντρώνει κάτω από την ίδια στέγη τον οργανισμό Holland Film, την Ταινιοθήκη της Ολλανδίας, το Ολλανδικό Ινστιτούτο Σπουδών Κινηματογράφου και το Μουσείο Κινηματογράφου.
Το Eye International είναι υπεύθυνο για τη διεθνή προώθηση ολλανδικών ταινιών, ενώ παράλληλα προσφέρει ένα ευρύ φάσμα υπηρεσιών σε Ολλανδούς σκηνοθέτες και παραγωγούς, ενισχύοντας έτσι την προβολή τους στο εξωτερικό. Εμπλέκεται άμεσα σε όλα τα στάδια διεθνούς προώθησης μιας ολλανδικής ταινίας, από την επιλογή της σε φεστιβάλ μέχρι την παρουσίασή της σε διεθνείς αγορές. Παρέχει, επίσης, σε διεθνείς οργανισμούς πληροφορίες σχετικές με τις τρέχουσες δραστηριότητες της ολλανδικής κινηματογραφικής βιομηχανίας.
Eye Film Institute Netherlands is the institute for film in the Netherlands. Since the 1st of January 2010, Eye unites Holland Film, the Filmbank, the Dutch Institute for Film Education and the Film Museum in one organisation, under one name.
Eye International is responsible for the international marketing & promotion of Dutch films. It offers a wide variety of services for Dutch filmmakers and producers to enhance the perception and visibility of Dutch filmmaking worldwide. Eye International is involved in every stage in the life of a Dutch film abroad, from its selection at a recognized film festival to its presentation at an international market. It provides the international film circuit with information on current activities within the Dutch film industry.

Μέσα από σουρεαλιστικές βινιέτες μικρού μήκους, ο θεατής καλείται να αντικρίσει έναν κόσμο που κοιτάζει εντός, προσεγγίζοντας θεματικές όπως η μοναξιά και η καταπίεση. Με σύντομες, φευγαλέες εικόνες και με τη μία σκηνή να διαδέχεται την άλλη, αποκαλύπτεται η πλοκή της ταινίας που εξιστορεί μια αλλόκοτη μα συνηθισμένη μέρα στη ζωή της πρωταγωνίστριας, Carlijn Fransen.
The coffee table smokes a cigarette, the oor lamp looks over the shoulder of the lonesome boss laying on her sofa. In a series of short surrealistic vignettes, the viewer is invited into an inward facing world. Themes as loneliness and oppression will be addressed on rst sight light manner. Seen after each other, the scenes create one storyline; a glimpse of an absurd yet maybe ordinary day in the life of the main character Carlijn Fransen.
Elastic Recurrence, 2'

Η βαρύτητα έλκει από κάθε κατεύθυνση τα θραύσματα ενός πιάτου. Και ενώ τα σπασμένα κομμάτια του απλώνονται στον χώρο, ελαστικά σχοινιά τα τραβάνε πίσω, ενώνοντάς τα εκ νέου. Αν και η εξάπλωση αυτή φαντάζει αδιάκοπη, οι νέες ενώσεις υποδηλώνουν μία εικονική ενοποίηση.
From all directions gravity pulls on the shards of a breaking dinner plate. While the pieces of the plate expand into space, elastic strings try to bring them back together. Even though the expansion appears to be never ending, the new connections suggest a virtual uni cation.
Falling Frames, 1'

Το Falling Frames είναι το πρώτο μέρος μίας σειράς ταινιών μικρού μήκους στις οποίες ο Langkamp εξερευνά - τεχνικά και εννοιολογικά - την τρισδιάστατη πλαισίωση και οπτικοποίηση μέσω ενός δισδιάστατου βίντεο. Όπως αναφέρει ο ίδιος «το έργο αυτό διερευνά τον χώρο και τον τρόπο με τον οποίο τον βιώνουμε».
Falling Frames is the rst fragment of a series in which Langkamp explores the framing and visualization of three-dimensional perspective through the two-dimensional medium video, both technically, as well as conceptually. In his own words: “The project is simply a research into space and how we experience space.”
Forest Paths / Forget Heidegger, 3'

A warped stroll through a forest. Animated still photographs reveal movement and light on the forest paths that are otherwise invisible to the human eye.
Hotel Forum, 10'

Μία ταινία εμπνευσμένη από τα άλλοτε τεράστια πολυτελή ξενοδοχεία του πρώην Ανατολικού Μπλοκ, που σχεδιάστηκαν τη δεκαετία του ’70 και ’80. Σήμερα, η χλιδή τους θεωρείται ξεπερασμένη, γι’ αυτό και έχουν τεθεί εκτός λειτουργίας, κατεδαφιστεί ή ανακαινιστεί. Μια ταινία αποκλειστικά φτιαγμένη από μακέτες.
The lm is inspired by the once huge and luxurious hotels in the former Eastern Bloc designed in the ‘70s and ‘80s. Today, their glamour is considered out of date, therefore most of the hotels have been shut down, renovated or demolished. The lm is entirely staged in miniature models.
Liquid Solid, 7'

Το μονοκάναλο βίντεο Liquid Solid επικεντρώνεται στις συνθήκες κατά τις οποίες η θερμοκρασία αγγίζει τους -20 βαθμούς Κελσίου και το χρώμα εξαφανίζεται από το ιριδίζον διάλυμα σαπουνιού, αποκαλύπτοντας τη διαδικασία ψύξης των λεπτών στρωμάτων του υγρού μέσω λεπτομερούς μοντάζ: όταν οι παγοκρύσταλλοι μεγαλώνουν, μετατρέπονται σε σύνθετα μοτίβα που θυμίζουν μορφοκλάσματα.
The single channel video Liquid Solid focuses on the conditions where the temperatures are around -20 degrees Celsius and all colour has disappeared from the soap lm. It shows a precise montage of the accelerated freezing process of the soap lms during which ice crystals grow into complex fractal-like patterns.
