Junio is an asylum seeker from Sierra Leone. He came to the southern part of Cyprus through the Dead Zone in search of a better life. As he shares his experiences about his immigration, his ideas around racism, and ways to solve the problem of immigrant homelessness, his asylum application gets rejected.
Ο Νικόλας Καρατζάς είναι κινηματογραφιστής. Tο έργο του επικεντρώνεται στη δημιουργία και παραγωγή ντοκιμαντέρ. Αποφοίτησε από το Τμήμα Πολυμέσων και Γραφικών Τεχνών του ΤΕΠΑΚ και, αργότερα, ολοκλήρωσε το μεταπτυχιακό του (ΜΑ) στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Αιγαίου με κατεύθυνση στον «Πολιτισμό και Παραγωγή Ταινιών Ντοκιμαντέρ». Έχει, επίσης, συνεργαστεί με διεθνείς εταιρείες στην παραγωγή διαφημίσεων. Tο ενδιαφέρον του επικεντρώνεται στην οπτική επικοινωνία, ενώ το έργο του διατηρεί μία ανθρωποκεντρική προσέγγιση, αντλώντας έμπνευση από κοινωνικά και περιβαλλοντικά ζητήματα.
Nicolas Karatzas is a cinematographer whose work focuses on Documentary Production. He studied Multimedia and Graphic Design at Cyprus University of Technology and, later on, graduated from the University of the Aegean in Cultural Documentary Production (MA). He has worked with international companies in advertising productions and has a strong arts and design background with an interest in audiovisual communication. His documentary work is distinguished by a human-centred approach and narrative. His work focuses on human rights, as well as on social and environmental issues.

The audience is invited to join two women on their journey of discussing, avoiding, expressing, and ultimately fighting about racism and microaggressions, and the way those affect their everyday life.
Η Bahar Pars είναι καταξιωμένη ηθοποιός, με έδρα τη Σουηδία και καταγωγή από το Ιράν. Η καταγωγή της προσθέτει στη δουλειά της μιαν επιπρόσθετη διάσταση, που την εμπλουτίζει τόσο ως ηθοποιό όσο και ως σκηνοθέτρια. Οι σατιρικές της ταινίες μικρού μήκους με θέμα τον δομικό ρατσισμό και τις μικροεπιθέσεις έχουν προβληθεί σε κινηματογραφικά φεστιβάλ ανά τον κόσμο, αποσπώντας διάφορα βραβεία. Bahar Pars is an acclaimed actress living in Sweden. She has her roots in Iran, which adds an extra dimension to her work and makes her multifaceted in both her acting and her way of directing. Her satirical short films on structural racism and microaggressions have been shown at film festivals worldwide and won numerous awards. In her work she is never afraid of tackling difficult subjects.

Η Amanda van Hesteren (1991) αποφοίτησε με διάκριση από το πρόγραμμα Οπτικοακουστικών Τεχνών της Σχολής LUCA των Βρυξελλών, έχοντας φοιτήσει για ένα εξάμηνο στη Σχολή Εικαστικών Τεχνών στη Νέα Υόρκη, το 2019. Η πτυχιακή της ταινία, Mommy and me, ήταν μία συμπαραγωγή του κρατικού σταθμού VPRO της Ολλανδίας. Το 2021 συμμετείχε στο IDFA Project Space, όπου ανέπτυξε ένα νέο σενάριο για το πρώτο της ντοκιμαντέρ μεγάλου μήκους, με το οποίο ασχολείται αυτή την περίοδο. Amanda van Hesteren (1991) graduated Cum Laude from the Audiovisual Arts programme at LUCA School of Arts in Brussels with a semester at the School of Visual Arts in New York in 2019. Her graduation film, Mommy and me, was co-produced by Dutch Broadcaster VPRO. In 2021 she participated in the IDFA Project Space where she developed a new script for her first feature documentary, which she is currently making. Amanda’s style is edgy and intimate. With her disarming gaze, she creates honest films in which she and her protagonists learn new things about the psyche of humanity and themselves.

Ο Claudius Gentinetta γεννήθηκε στη Λουκέρνη το 1968. Σπούδασε Γραφικό Σχέδιο και Κινούμενα Σχέδια στη Λουκέρνη, το Λίβερπουλ και το Κάσελ. Το 1995 ήταν για έναν χρόνο υπότροφος στην Κρακοβία. Αυτή την περίοδο εργάζεται στη Ζυρίχη ως ελεύθερος επαγγελματίας γραφίστας και δημιουργός κινουμένων σχεδίων.
Claudius Gentinetta was born in 1968 in Lucerne. He studied graphic design and animation in Lucerne, Liverpool and Kassel. In 1995 he spent a scholarship year in Cracow. He currently works as freelance graphic artist and animator in Zurich.

Fantoomwijk gives voice to the evicted locals of the Tweebosbuurt, a working class neighbourhood in Rotterdam that was once a bustling part of the city. A short film about the human cost of urban development, representing the global issue of gentrification in big cities.

Ravi Sandberg is an Indian-Dutch filmmaker based in Rotterdam. In 2018 he graduated from the HKU University of the Arts Utrecht as an audiovisual maker. With his graduation film Rain, he won the NL Filmfund Wildcard and played at various national and international film festivals. His debut film Seeds was made possible thanks to the Wildcard and premiered in 2021 at the Netherlands Film Festival, where it got nominated for Best Debut Prize.

Α Yakut epic about two sisters. The younger sister is studying in the city of St. Petersburg and, during this time, she learns that her older sister has died. She returns home to a remote Yakut village. After the funeral, she goes home, but suddenly her older sister comes in at night.

Ayaal Adamov grew up in the far north in Oymyakon, the Republic of Sakha Yakutia also known as the “Pole of Cold” being the coldest place in the world. He is a graduate of the Saint Petersburg Institute of Cinema and Television, having attended the workshop of Alexander Sokurov. His short films have participated in film festivals such as Vienna Shorts, Go-Shorts, Busan ISFF, In The Palace FF, Imaginenative Film, Tromso IFF.

In a parallel timeline, characterised by sexual liberation and childlessness, Stella convinces her partner, Miltos, to participate in an alternative couple therapy programme. However, nothing is what it seems.

Την περίοδο μεταξύ 2017-2018, έκανε ένα σημαντικό βήμα στην καλλιτεχνική του διαδρομή, παρακολουθώντας εντατικά μαθήματα συγγραφής σεναρίου. Η απόφαση αποδείχτηκε καθοριστική, αφού εμπλούτισε τον τρόπο με τον οποίο αντιλαμβάνεται τη γλώσσα του σινεμά. Το 2020 κυκλοφόρησε η πρώτη του ταινία μικρού μήκους, ένα ντοκιμαντέρ που προσέλκυσε την προσοχή και διακρίθηκε σε διάφορα φεστιβάλ κινηματογράφου.
Andreas Dimitriou is a self-taught filmmaker who has made significant strides in the film industry since 2012, specialising in producing and directing promotional and music videos. In 2017-2018, Andreas took a significant step in his artistic journey by enrolling in an intensive scriptwriting course. This decision proved transformative, providing him with an enriched understanding of the language of cinema. In 2020, he released his first short film, a documentary that garnered attention and acclaim at various film festivals.
