Ο Aziz Zoromba είναι Καναδός συγγραφέας και σκηνοθέτης, αιγυπτιακής καταγωγής. Η φιλμογραφία του, ντοκιμαντέρ και μυθοπλασία, καταπιάνεται με θέματα όπως η πολιτιστική ταυτότητα, η αφομοίωση και το διαγενεακό τραύμα. Aziz Zoromba is a Canadian writer & director of Egyptian origins. His works, documentaries and fiction, explore the themes of cultural identity, assimilation and intergenerational trauma. He is a graduate of the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema, and an alumnus of the 2019 Sundance Ignite fellowship. Faraway (2020), his first documentary short, has screened at over 30 film festivals around the world (Slamdance, Camerimage, RIDM). Aziz also co-produced the short documentary No Crying at the Dinner Table (Carol Nguyen, 2019), winner of over 25 awards and selected by over 80 festivals including TIFF, SXSW and IDFA.

Ο Μιχάλης Κίμωνας γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1992. Είναι απόφοιτος της Δραματικής Σχολής του Εθνικού Θεάτρου και της SAE Athens DIgital Filmmaking. Ως ηθοποιός έχει συνεργαστεί με μερικούς από τους πιο διακεκριμένους σκηνοθέτες του θεάτρου και του κινηματογράφου. Το KIDDO είναι η πρώτη του μικρού μήκους ταινία.
Michalis Kimonas was born in Athens in 1992. He graduated from the Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece, and from SAE Athens DIgital Filmmaking. As an actor, he has collaborated with some of the most acclaimed Greek directors, both in cinema and in the theatre. KIDDO is his debut short film.

Η δεύτερή του ταινία μικρού μήκους, Where No Ships Go, τιμήθηκε με Εύφημη Μνεία στο Φεστιβάλ της Τεργέστης και απέσπασε το βραβείο Ovidiu Bose Pastina στο Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Anonimul της Ρουμανίας. Vlad Buzaianu is an emerging director, self-taught in the craft of film, with a background in Economics and Psychology. His first short film, Dreams on Sale, won 15 awards, had more than 80 official selections (Fajr International Film Festival, Film Festival Kitzbuhel, Kansas City Filmfest, River Bend Film Festival) and was warmly received both by the audience and the critics. His second short film, Where No Ships Go, received Special Mention at Trieste Film Festival and won Ovidiu Bose Pastina Award at Anonimul International Film Festival. He is currently working on his debut feature.

Antis Iakovou works in various fields of environmental sustainability. He co-directed the short films On the bricks, The day I jump and Posidonies, which have screened internationally. He is also a creative collaborator and technical coordinator in the making and touring of performance-related works.
Η Εύη Δημητρίου είναι χορογράφος/χορεύτρια και περφόρμερ με έδρα την Κύπρο. Μέσα από μια πολυθεματική προσέγγιση του χορού, του θεάτρου, των παραστατικών τεχνών και του κινηματογράφου, η δουλειά της αντανακλά ζητήματα που άπτονται της κοινωνικής δικαιοσύνης και της πολιτικής τής φροντίδας. Το καλλιτεχνικό της έργο έχει προβληθεί εκτενώς σε περιοδείες ανά την Ευρώπη, αλλά και την Ασία, την Αφρική και τις ΗΠΑ.
Evie Demetriou is a dance artist and performer based in Cyprus. Through a multidisciplinary approach of dance, theatre, performance art and film, her work reflects on topics related to social justice and politics of care. Her artistic work has extensively toured in Europe, as well as in Asia, Africa and the US.

Her short film I am Bisha earned the Oscar-qualifying Full Frame Jury Award for Best Short, a One World Media Award, and a Rory Peck Award. She has directed documentaries for The New York Times, BBC, and Al Jazeera, and has received fellowships from CatchLight, Logan Nonfiction and FRONTLINE/Firelight.

Gunnur Martinsdóttir Schlüter is an Icelandic / German actress and director, currently based in Reykjavik. Through stories, she aims to mirror and dissect human actions and desires in daily life, using both the tools of theatre and film. Born in Reykjavik and living over a decade in Germany where she gained a B.A. in Theatre Directing at the University of Music and Theatre in Hamburg, Gunnur is currently studying acting at the University of Arts in Iceland. Gunnur has created, acted in and been part of the creative process of numerous projects; she is an Edda Award nominee and has received other recognitions.

Kawthar Younis is a filmmaker based in Cairo, Egypt. She is known for her film A Present from the Past, which was the first of its kind to set a record for audience demand in the Egyptian market. She works as a producer for films, mini series and TV commercials. Kawthar is a co-founder of the inaugural Rawiyat-Sisters in Film.

Jonas Smulders (1994) is considered one of the most promising Dutch acting talents of his generation. He has worked on a large variety of both national and international films. In the meantime, Jonas has initiated a career as a writer/director. Obesk is his second short film, and the first that was funded by the Dutch Film Fund.

Η Χριστίνα Γεωργίου (PhD) είναι βραβευμένη δημιουργός ταινιών, απόφοιτος του Berlinale Talents, μέλος της Ευρωπαϊκής Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου, διευθύντρια της Blunatic Pictures και μέλος ΣΕΠ στο Πανεπιστήμιο Λευκωσίας και στο Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου. Με περισσότερα από σαράντα έργα στο ενεργητικό της, έχει συμμετάσχει στη δημιουργία διακεκριμένων ταινιών μικρού και μεγάλου μήκους, καθώς και τηλεοπτικών σειρών με την ιδιότητα της συνθέτριας, της σεναριογράφου, της σχεδιάστριας ήχου, της σκηνοθέτριας και της παραγωγού. Το πρώτο της ντοκιμαντέρ, The Stray Story: A Dogumentary (2021), τιμήθηκε με περισσότερα από δεκατρία διεθνή βραβεία, έχει εγκριθεί από το Υπουργείο Παιδείας, Αθλητισμού και Νεολαίας για προβολή σε σχολεία και είναι διαθέσιμο σε μεγάλες διεθνείς πλατφόρμες streaming.
Christina Georgiou (PhD) is an award-winning filmmaker, Berlinale Talents alumna, member of the European Film Academy, managing director of Blunatic Pictures and adjunct faculty at the University of Nicosia and the University of Cyprus. With more than forty projects under her belt, Christina has contributed as composer, screenwriter, sound designer, director and producer to acclaimed shorts, features and TV series. Her debut documentary feature, The Stray Story: A Dogumentary (2021) received thirteen international awards, has been approved for school screenings by the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth and is available on major international streaming platforms.
