Cyrus Neshvad is an Iranian film director based in Luxembourg. His previous short movies Son and Portraitist won both the Luxembourgish Oscars in 2018 and 2021.

Ο Ολλανδός δημιουργός ταινιών Erik van Schaaik ξεκίνησε σε ηλικία δώδεκα χρόνων να γυρίζει ταινίες μικρού μήκους σε Super 8, που προβλήθηκαν σε διεθνή τηλεοπτικά κανάλια. Ενώ σπούδαζε γραφικό σχέδιο, άρχισε να εργάζεται για την Ολλανδική Τηλεόραση, δημιουργώντας μια σειρά ταινιών κινουμένων σχεδίων, δραματικών ταινιών ζωντανής δράσης, και ντοκιμαντέρ με διαφορετικές τεχνοτροπίες και τεχνικές. Για τη μεγάλη οθόνη έχει δημιουργήσει τις βραβευμένες ταινίες μικρού μήκους Vent, The phantom of the cinema και την stop-motion κωμωδία τρόμου Under the apple tree. Η νέα του ταινία μικρού μήκους, το mockumentary The smile, είναι μια καυστική κωμωδία κινουμένων σχεδίων.
Dutch filmmaker Erik van Schaaik started filming at the age of twelve, creating super-8 short films that made it to international television. While studying graphic design, Erik started working for Dutch television, creating a series of animated films, live action drama and documentaries, in a variety of styles and techniques. For the big screen he created the award-winning animated short films Vent, The phantom of the cinema and the stop-motion horror comedy Under the apple tree. The brand new short The smile, is a disturbingly funny animated mockumentary.

Στις ταινίες της, επιχειρεί να μεταδίδει την ευθραυστότητα που οι άνθρωποι φοβούνται να εκφράσουν. Η Xiaohui and His Cows είναι η πτυχιακή της ταινία που σκηνοθέτησε στο πλαίσιο του δεύτερου έτους σπουδών της στο NYU.
Xinying Lao was born in Guangxi, China in 1997. She is a third-year graduate film student at New York University. She is a director, writer, and editor who has made several short documentaries and narrative shorts. She studied Journalism as an undergraduate, which brought her into contact with people from different classes in society. In her films, she is dedicated to conveying the vulnerability that people are afraid to express in reality. Xiaohui and His Cows is her second-year film project at NYU.

Alexis Koukias-Pantelis is a film director, screenwriter, and production sound mixer. He has directed seven short films, which have travelled to international film festivals, including Aesthetica Short Film Festival, BUFF Malmö Filmfestival and Tirana International Film Festival. He has credited work in the sound department of films that have been screened in some of the most prestigious film festivals of the world including Semaine de la Critique - Festival de Cannes, Venice International Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival. His latest short film as director, Aerolin, was funded by the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) and the Greek Film Centre.

Η Nadia Parfan, Ουκρανή δημιουργός ταινιών και παραγωγών, γεννήθηκε στο Ιβάνο-Φρανκίβσκ το 1986. Κατέχει πτυχίο στις Πολιτισμικές Σπουδές από την Ακαδημία Κιέβου-Μοχίλα και στην Κοινωνική Ανθρωπολογία από το Κεντρικό Ευρωπαϊκό Πανεπιστήμιο της Βουδαπέστης. Από το 2012 μέχρι το 2013 ήταν υπότροφος του Fulbright στο Πανεπιστήμιο Temple της Φιλαδέλφεια. Το 2015 παρακολούθησε μαθήματα δημιουργίας ντοκιμαντέρ στη Σχολή Wajda της Βαρσοβίας. Η πρώτη της ταινία μεγάλου μήκους, Heat Singers, έκανε πρεμιέρα στο Visions du Réel το 2019 και απέσπασε το Βραβείο Καλύτερου Ντοκιμαντέρ της Ένωσης Κριτικών Κινηματογράφου της Ουκρανίας και της Ουκρανικής Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου.
Nadia Parfan was born in Ivano-Frankivsk in 1986. The Ukrainian filmmaker and producer has a degree in Cultural Studies from the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and in Social Anthropology from the Central European University in Budapest. From 2012 to 2013, she was a Fulbright Scholar at Temple University in Philadelphia. In 2015, she completed a documentary filmmaking course at the Wajda School in Warsaw. Her feature-length debut, Heat Singers, premiered at Visions du Réel in 2019 and was awarded Best Documentary by both the Ukrainian Film Critics Association and the Ukrainian Film Academy.

Το 2023 σκηνοθέτησε το Basri & Salma in a Never-ending Comedy, που έκανε παγκόσμια πρεμιέρα στο 76ο Φεστιβάλ των Καννών. Πρόκειται για την πρώτη ινδονησιακή ταινία μικρού μήκους που διαγωνίστηκε για τον Χρυσό Φοίνικα.
Khozy Rizal is a filmmaker based in Makassar, Indonesia. He started making films in 2021 with the short film Makassar is a City for Football Fans (official selection at Sundance Film Festival, BFI Flare and many others). In 2023, he directed Basri & Salma in a Never-ending Comedy, which world premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. The latter is the first Indonesian short film eligible to compete for the Palme d’Or for short film.

Ο Osman Cerfon είναι Γάλλος σκηνοθέτης κινουμένων σχεδίων. Αφού σπούδασε Γραφικά και εκπαιδεύτηκε στη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών Épinal, ολοκλήρωσε τις σπουδές του στη La Poudrière. Εκεί σκηνοθέτησε τρεις ταινίες, μεταξύ των οποίων την πτυχιακή του ταινία, Tête-à-tête. Στη συνέχεια, εργάστηκε ως σεναριογράφος για την Folimage και έπειτα για το στούντιο Jesuisbiencontent, που είχε αναλάβει την παραγωγή για τα δύο μέρη της ταινίας του, Chroniques de la Poisse, η οποία διένυσε μια επιτυχημένη πορεία σε πολλά φεστιβάλ (περιλαμβανομένων των φεστιβάλ του Ανεσί και της Χιροσίμα). Από το 2013 και εντεύθεν συνεργάζεται στενά με το στούντιο κινουμένων σχεδίων Miyu Productions.
Osman Cerfon is a French director of animated films. After studying graphic design and training at the Beaux-Arts d'Épinal, Osman Cerfon completed his studies at the La Poudrière school. There, he directed three films, including Tête-à-tête, his graduation film. When he left school, he worked on various projects as a scriptwriter or technician for Folimage, then for Jesuisbiencontent, the studio that produced the two parts of Chroniques de la Poisse, two short films selected and awarded at many festivals (including Annecy, Hiroshima). Since 2013, he has been working closely with Miyu Productions.

His short films Song to the siren, Dorothea, Interlude and A jar of nuts have screened internationally at festivals, with the latter having won Best Short at the Oscar-qualifying Tirana Film Festival. He is currently developing his first feature The ones left behind, which was one of the eight projects selected to participate at the Sundance Mediterranean Screenwriters Lab in 2018.
